    ALL IN ONE PLACE

My work weaves together embodied modalities and health practices creating a holistic integrative approach for all aspects of your body and your life.

Who I am?

Many moons ago I studied fashion design at Saint Martins school of Art, and went on to work in Film and TV. These hectic and competitive industries were great fun but also came with a whole lof of stress, anxiety and burn out! In those days self-awareness was not on my radar, neither was my health, and my methods of stress relief were more centred around the pub rather than the local yoga studio. My body had to scream really loudly for me to take notice. And so it did with an ectopic pregnancy, a cervical cancer scare and an endometriosis diagnosis all in a matter of months.

This crisis was a gift, (don’t get me wrong - it really didn’t feel like it at the time) , enabling me to create vital change - gave up my TV career, left London and started studying yoga. This was my initiation into the descent into the underworld- a journey of grief, despair and breakdown from which came a radical change of life and healing and eventually motherhood.

In these 20 years I’ve continued to study and research all things health and wellbeing, psychotherapy, embodiment, menstrual cycle awareness, feminine cyclical wisdom, embodied female pelvic care, rites of passage, menopause and Functional Kinesiology. I’m in awe of the world around me and how we as human beings exist within it. I’m a body and science geek, a nature lover, sea swimmer, a book geek, a seeker and explorer.

I’m passionate about supporting women through transitions and thresholds of life, from menarche to menopause and beyond. Women experience far too much unnecessary suffering when it comes to physical and mental health, and my mission is to change this paradigm through female centered practices and education.

A big influence is my teen daughter, in equal amounts she infuriates and amazes me, fills me with love and fuels my passion to make this a more female friendly world.

I live in the Sussex countryside with my husband, daughter and animals.

What People Are Saying

"I signed up for the course at a time when I ..needed a safe space in which to explore further my pelvic anatomy, my relationship to my pelvis to help me in my healing journey. Jane offered this and more and the course really helped me in my own healing journey and back home to myself again. Reawakening parts of me that had been quiet for a little while. A great course full of ideas for self inquiry for all women to explore. Jane holds a lovely open, supportive safe space in which to explore and grow."

“I'm relatively new to yoga and I've attended some of Jane's sessions on Embodied Yoga Principles. Jane guided us clearly through each posture, giving details of how to place the body. She also gave choices depending on what was possible, so that I could easily find a way to adapt if I needed to, feeling confident that my posture was giving me a valuable message. Jane's enquiries were well paced, with time to reflect and explore what the posture showed about my everyday life. I learned about my place in the rhythm of my life, with surprising clarity. I feel comfortable and safely held in Jane's sessions, relaxed and energised, alert and responsive. I love the discovery that's possible with Jane that gives me feedback about my own state and effectiveness. I thoroughly recommend Jane's Yoga and Embodied Wellbeing Coaching..”

“I attended Jane's Pleasure Friday session for the first time and I will be back. The session was a great way to 'top up the tank' after what had been a personally gruelling week. It is was expertly facilitated and really gently held. I was seeking out new corners of pleasure for the rest of the day and a day later the pleasure tank still feels full! I will make these as much as a regular feature that I can from now on as a valuable bit of self care routine.”

— Jo Miller

“I have attended both Yoga classes, and workshops with Jane.

She holds a really safe space to explore empowering embodiment practices. The workshops I have attended have all been for women, and have offered fresh insights and development in my own personal wellbeing practices, and have been an empowering space for us to share our experiences and truth with each other, in confidence and without judgement.

I'll continue to recommend her work.”

“I had found Jane's classes online and had been interested by the somatic and embodied aspects. The classes have been very different to traditional yoga classes and definitely what I had been hoping for; to connect more deeply with my body in the present moment. The language is very invitational which worked well for me, and each week I have attended I have gained new insight about my relationship between mind and body. I have enjoyed the classes and plan to explore further. Jane teaches in a very inclusive and compassionate way creating space for being in classes. Very insightful and enjoyable.”

“Today was the final day of a 6 week course on the Pelvis with Jane. As a fellow Yoga Teacher, I found Jane's delivery brilliantly paced. An informative, extremely interesting and insightful course with a lovely new friend. ”
